Galapagos Islands Seymour Airport

City: Galapagos Islands
Country: Ecuador

Seymour Airport serves the island of Baltra, one of Ecuador's Galapagos Islands. The airport opened its new 'ecological' terminal in Mar-2013, which is LEED certified and was constructed from low environmental impact materials. Corporación América holds a 15-year concession to operate the airport, and invested USD26 million in the project which involved construction of the new terminal building and the doubling of the existing apron.
