Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport serves the largest city and capital of Canada's Yukon Territory, Whitehorse. The airports receives regular commercial services from several Canadian airlines. Numerous charter carriers and general aviation aircraft operators also use the airport. Whitehorse is also a major base for water bombing aircraft used in fire fighting operations. The airport is classified as an airport of entry by NAV CANADA and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency. The Government of Yukon operate the airport.
