Dakar Yoff Airport (also known as Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport) served as the primary airport for the city of Dakar, Senegal. Dakar was a major hub of aviation activity in west Africa and has direct connections to major metropolitan areas in western Africa and holiday resorts in the Canary Islands. Dakar Yoff Airport closed to commercial service operations following the opening of Dakar Blaise Diagne International Airport on 07-Dec-2017.
