Cozumel International Airport serves the island of Cozumel, off Mexico's Caribbean coast near Playa del Carmen and Cancun. The airport is a popular gateway for tourism to the Mayan Riviera and the largest coral reef system in the Americas. It is one of nine airports operated by Aeropuertos del Sureste (ASUR) and is equipped with six boarding gates. A number of North American carriers serve Cozumel, with domestic destinations being served by Interjet and MAYAir.
