Rickenbacker International Airport is a joint civil/military facility located approximately 15 kilometres south of the city of Columbus, in Franklin County, Ohio. The airport receives limited scheduled passenger service but is a popular cargo port, hosting freight services from several major cargo carriers. Rickenbacker Airport also plays host to a number of units from the US Air Force and Army National Guard. The airport is operated by the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which also operates Port Columbus International Airport.
