Cold Bay Airport
Cold Bay Airport serves the city of Cold Bay, in the Aleutians East Borough of Alaska. Cold Bay is one of the major airports serving the Aleutians, receiving scheduled passenger services as well dedicated freighter services that connect to both outlying communities and larger cities such as Anchorage. Due to the length of its main runway (3174m), the airport is also used as a diversion facility for long distance commercial flights crossing the Pacific. Cold Bay is operated by the Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities (DOT&PF).
