Jardines del Rey Airport serves the resort island of Cayo Coco in Cuba's Ciego de Ávila province. Jardines del Rey is served domestically by Cubana, with a number of North American carriers operating services to Cayo Coco. The airport opened in Dec-2002, replacing the previous Cayo Coco Airport 10km to the west. Jardines del Rey is publicly owned and is operated by Aena and Empresa Cubana de Aeropuertos y Servicios Aeronáuticos (ECASA).
