Cuba

About
The Republic of Cuba is one of the world’s last remaining Communist countries. The Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Cuba (Instituto de Aeronáutica Civil de Cuba) is the government organization in charge of the management, execution and control of State and Government Policy in reference to air transport, civil air navigation and their ancillary and related services.
The country’s largest airline and flag carrier is Cubana de Aviación, commonly known as ‘Cubana’. Other airlines operating domestically include Aerogaviota and Aerocaribbean. All Cuban airlines are state-owned enterprises run by Corporación de la Aviación Civil S.A. All three airlines use as their hub the José Martí International Airport, Cuba’s main international and domestic gateway.
