Bowling Green-Warren County Airport
Bowling Green-Warren County Airport serves the city of Bowling Green and Warren County, KY. The site of the Bowling Green Airport was established in 1934 as a military air base. After the second World War, the airport was repositioned as a mixed-use facility with commercial air services operated by Bluegrass Airlines and Eastern Airlines. Bowling Green Airport suspended commercial operations in 1972, following the cessation of Wright Airline services to Bowling Green. The airport recommenced commercial air service operations on 29-Aug-2016, with Contour Airlines launching services to Destin and Atlanta. Bowling Green-Warren County Airport is publicly owned by the City of Bowling Green and Warren County.
