Bilaspur Airport is located in the village of Chakarbhatta, approximately 10km south of Bilaspur district, Chhattisgarh, India. The airport has been a subject of interest to Airports Authority of India and the Chhattisgarh State Government, with plans on repurposing the facility for commercial use. However, the airport authority agreed to hand the non-operational airport to the Indian Army under a conditional agreement.
