About
Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BBI) is located in Schönefeld, 18 kilometres south of Berlin, Germany. The facility was initially scheduled to open 2011, replacing all three airports in Berlin: Tempelhof, Tegel and Schönefeld. Construction work began on 05-Sep-06, with costs estimated at EUR2.5 billion, which have since more than doubled. The airport is projected to have initial capacity to handle up to 27 million passengers, with future capacity to accommodate up to 45 million passengers. Delays caused by technical and construction issues now mean the airport won't become fully operational until Oct-2020.

I didn't realise all this traffic data was here. The data is much more up-to-date than the other results we usually use - I'll be using this from now on.
