Batken Airport serves the city of Batken in southwest Kyrgyzstan. Batken Airport started its operations in 1940s as a landing strip. The current runway and terminal were constructed in 1984. Kyrgyzstan Government reportedly plans to commence reconstruction of Batken Airport in 2014.
