Anambra Airport, also known as Umueri Cargo Airport, is an airport serving Umueri (Umuleri) and the surrounding areas of Anambra State in southeastern Nigeria. Anambra State launched the Umueri Cargo Airport project on 11-Apr-2017 and construction was completed in Apr-2021.
Anambra State's Governor Willie Obiano inaugurated Anambra Airport on 30-Oct-2021.
Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) issued authority to Anambra State Government to open Anambra Airport for commercial operations, effective 02-Nov-2021.
