About
Acadiana Regional Airport (Lafayette New Iberia Airport) is a municipal airport serving the city of New Iberia, located in the US' state of Louisiana. Historically, the airport served as a US naval air station. Today, Acadiana primarily receives general aviation traffic, however, the fully instrument-equipped airport is hoping to attract new commercial services. The airport serves as a base for Bristow helicopters as well as other aviation-related service companies. Acadiana Regional Airport is operated by the Iberia Parish Airport Authority.
