About

Zav Airways was an Indian charter carrier that received its No Objection Certificate (NOC) from India's Ministry of Civil Aviation on 23-Jul-2014 to provide scheduled regional services from its proposed hub at Kolkata Netaji Subhas Chandra Airport. Zav planned to operate services throughout the northeast and east of the country, connecting Kolkata with Aizawl, Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, and Patna. The carrier planned to initially operate with a fleet of Let 410 turboprop aircraft. A launch date has not been advised, it is assumed the carrier has abandoned plans to launch operations.
