Western Global Airlines (WGA) is a US' FAA Part-121 cargo carrier providing domestic and international ACMI freight services from its base at Southwest Florida International Airport. The carrier commenced operations on 04-Aug-2014 and operates equipment leased from affiliate Neff Air LLC. WGA was linked to former sister company Nordic Global Airlines.
WGA filed for voluntary bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code on 07-Aug-2023. WGA plans to continue to operate as usual throughout the reorganisation process and going forward. WGA announced the completion of its financial restructuring process in Dec-2023.
