About
Tomsk Avia was a Russian charter carrier based in Tomsk. Founded in 1992, the carrier operated domestic passenger, cargo and charter services. In Apr-2015, Tomsk's Federal Bailiff Service seized Tomsk Avia's fleet of An-24 and An-26 following an audit by the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya). The Russian air transport authority suspended Tomsk Avia's air operator's certificate (AOC), and order the carrier to settle its outstanding debt. Tomsk Avia commenced bankruptcy procedures in Jul-2015, with Rosaviatsiya officially annulling the airline's AOC.
