Thai Summer Airways is a proposed Thai LCC headquartered in Bangkok to be based at Utapao International Airport. The carrier plans to launch international services to destinations in North Asia Southeast Asia and South Asia, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Thai Summer Airways secured an air operating certificate from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand in Sep-2020.
In May-2022, Thai Summer Airways CEO Akkarapat Leechotphaisan confirmed the carrier plans to launch operations in 3Q2022, with its inaugural flight due to take place by the end of Jul-2022. A revised launch date has not been advised.
