Thai SmartLynx (formerly BBN Airlines Thailand) is a proposed charter carrier to be based in Bangkok. The airline is backed by Avia Solutions Group and submitted a document to the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) for an airline operating licence (AOL) in Nov-2023. The carrier is expected to receive an air operator licence "soon" and an air operator's certificate (AOC) in Oct-2024.
