About
Tassili Airlines was an airline based in Algiers, Algeria. The airline commenced operations in 1998 as a joint venture between Sonatrach Petroleum Corporation and national carrier Air Algerie. In 2005, Sonatrach, a government-owned company, acquired 100% of the shareholding.
Air Algerie signed an agreement to assume ownership of Tassili Airlines from Sonatrach Holdings in Jun-2025. The acquisition and merger was completed in Aug-2025. Tassili Airlines was rebranded as Domestic Airlines.
