Southeast Airlines
About
Southeast Airlines was a Kenyan low-cost carrier based at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The carrier was operated by African Express Airways and provided domestic scheduled services. The LCC suspended operations after citing high operating costs and strong competition from established airlines. The airline is considering relaunching as a regional carrier with larger aircraft in late 2015 or early 2016, subject to government approval.
In Mar-2021, SouthEast Airlines reported plans to launch operations in 2021, using a leased A320 fleet in all economy configuration, serving markets within the EU. The carrier plans to initially commence operations with a single aircraft, with a second to follow by the end of 2021.
