Shree Airlines (originally Air Ananya) is a charter service operator based at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport. The carrier operates with Eurocopter and Mil Helicopters on passenger, medvac and special tourism charter services. Shree Airlines expressed interest in fixed-wing operations, with plans to acquire CRJ-200 and ERJ-145 for passenger services. Subject to the completion of the acquisitions, Shree Airlines will become Nepal's Embraer aircraft operator. The airline received CRJ-200 and CRJ-700 aircraft in 2017. It acquired an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) for commercial flight operations from Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) after successfully conducting a proving flight on 04-Aug-2017. Scheduled service commenced on 11-Aug-2017 with Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.
