Livingston
About
Livingston Compagnia Aerea was an Italian airline based at Milan Malpensa Airport, Italy. Livingston operated bases at Rome Fiumicino, Verona, Milan Malpensa and Rimini. The airline took over the name and landing rights of Livingston Energy Flight following the latter's liquidation in 2011. Livingston operated scheduled and charter services to holiday destinations in Europe, Africa and Latin America. The airline's fleet comprised of A320 and A330 aircraft.
On 06-Oct-2014, Livingston announced that it would immediately suspend operations, "due to the collapse of tourism, especially in the holiday segment to Egypt and the Mediterranean basin" and over other unpaid claims. Livingston added: "The company's decision to suspend activity has been previously brought to the attention of the appropriate bodies of the Court of Busto Arsizio and has the objective of protecting the company's assets. The employees, whose outstanding wages will be fully settled, can take advantage of social safety nets provided by law".
