IPP Air Cargo

IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a
Main hub:
Country/Territory: Vietnam

IPP Air Cargo is a proposed cargo carrier by IMEX Pan Pacific to be based in Vietnam. IPP Air Cargo would have 30% of its VND2.4 trillion (USD104.4 million) capital contributed by IMEX and 70% by other investors.

In Jul-2021, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) rejected a proposal by IMEX Pan Pacific to establish IPP Air Cargo. CAAV attributed the COVID-19 pandemic to the decision, adding new airlines will only be considered after 2022 when the aviation market begins to recover. The authority will continue to review the market and report to Vietnam's Ministry of Transport about establishing the carrier after 2022.
IPP Group hopes to receive an air operator's certificate for IPP Air Cargo by the end of Jul-2022. The start up is scheduled to launch operations from Sep-2022.
