About
Hawkair Aviation was regional/commuter carrier based in Terrace, BC, Canada. The carrier was founded in 1994 and operates scheduled services from operating bases at Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat and Vancouver International Airport to destinations in British Columbia, Canada. The carrier ceased scheduled service operations in early 2016 due to financial issues. Hawkair opted to wet-lease its aircraft to its parent carrier, Central Mountain Air. However, the parent company ceased all of Hawkair service operations in Sep-2016. Hawkair Aviation filed for bankruptcy on 18-Nov-2016.
