Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is a charter airline serving the US, Canada, the Caribbean and destinations within Latin America from its hubs in Miami and Atlantic City.
On 04-Aug-2021, US FAA granted an air operating certificate to Global Crossing Airlines, authorising it as a US 121 flag and supplemental carrier. GlobalX commenced passenger revenue operations as of 07-Aug-2021. Global Crossing Airlines received its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity for Foreign Charter Air Transportation from the US Department of Transportation (DoT) on 27-Aug-2021.
In Nov-2021, Global Crossing Airlines and Jetlines launched a partnership on the sale of public charter flights between Toronto and Florida. It is the first arrangement between the two companies since GlobalX completed the spin out of Canada Jetlines in Jun-2021 to shareholders.
