About

Ghana Airways was a proposed national full service carrier to be based at Accra Kotoka Airport. The carrier planned to be established under a public-private partnership, with the Ghanaian Government to hold a 10% stake, Ethiopian Airlines holding a majority 49% stake and the remainder held by local investors. The previous iteration of Ghana Airways suspended services in 2004. The carrier planned to commence operations in 3Q2023, it is assumed the carrier has failed to launch.
