About

Ghana Airways is a proposed national full service carrier to be based at Accra Kotoka Airport. The carrier will be established under a public-private partnership, with the Ghanaian Government to hold a 10% stake, Ethiopian Airlines holding a majority 49% stake and the remainder held by local investors. The previous iteration of Ghana Airways suspended services in 2004. The carrier planned to commence operations in 3Q2023, however no additional updates have been provided.
