About
Previously branded as Tianjiao Airlines, Genghis Khan Airlines is a Chinese regional carrier based in Hohhot Baita International Airport. With a registered capital of (CNY3 billion) USD440 million, the carrier commenced operations with Hohhot-Ulanhot service on 26-Jul-2019, using Comac ARJ21 aircraft. As part of establishing regular operations, Genghis Khan Airlines has also agreed with Comac to establish a flight school, a centre for maintenance, repair and overhaul and the Genghis Khan Airlines training centre in Inner Mongolia. The carrier is the second operator of CF34-10A-powered ARJ21 aircraft and the first airline with a 100% China-made jet fleet.
