About

flypop is a proposed low cost long haul carrier to be based at London Stansted Airport. The start-up plans to launch nonstop services between the UK and Amritsar and Ahmedabad. The airline plans to operate three times weekly Ahmedabad and Amritsar services with A330-300 aircraft, initially on a charter basis before moving to an ACMI arrangement. flypop plans to apply for its own air operator's certificate but will continue to lease its aircraft. It plans to become the first carbon neutral international airline. A rewards-based crowdfunding programme was launched on 01-Jun-2016, in association with Trillion Fund.

In Apr-2022, flypop CEO Nino Singh Judge stated the airline will be launching passenger flights in either late 2022 or early 2023. No additional updates have been provided.
