About

FlyEgypt (T1 Airlines) is an Egyptian scheduled carrier based at Cairo International Airport. The carrier is backed by the Talaat Moustafa Group, an Egyptian conglomerate. FlyEgypt operated limited charter services before it introduced low-cost services in May-2016, using a fleet of Boeing 737NG aircraft in a single class configuration. It secured EFP and CAT II approval in Oct-2015, and commenced low-cost service operations with five times weekly Alexandria-Kuwait and three times weekly Asyut-Kuwait services on 25-May-2016.
