Fly Erbil is a proposed Iraqi start-up to be based at Erbil International Airport. The new carrier plans to operate from Erbil to destinations in Europe and the Middle East and is considering Germany, Greece, Lebanon, Sweden and UAE routes. It also plans to codeshare with Iraqi Airways on Europe Services. The start-up is awaiting approval of an AOC. It sought to commence operations with two leased A321 aircraft in May-2016. A revised launch date of Jun-2018 has been advised. Fly Erbil has a start up capital of USD5 million.
