Falcon Air
About
Commencing operations in 1995, Falcon Air Express (Falcon Air) was a US' FAA Part-121 carrier based at Miami International Airport, with a secondary hub in Mesa, Arizona. The carrier also held FAA' Domestic, Flag and Supplemental approvals. Falcon Air clients included government departments, tour operators and universities. The carrier previously operated a fleet of MD-80 series aircraft. Falcon Air reportedly ceased operations on 05-Jun-2015 after surrendering its Air Operators Certificate (AOC) to the FAA.
In Mar-2016, Falcon Air Express announced its intention to resume certificated air carrier operations, under a proposed new ownership and management. The carrier is seeking to recommence operations as soon as possible, deploying MD-83 aircraft.
