About

Equatorial Congo Airlines, operating as ECAir, was a carrier from the Republic of Congo. The carrier began operations in Sep-2011 from its base at Brazzaville Maya Maya Airport. Crews and technical support for ECAir's Boeing 737 and 757 fleet were provided by Geneva-based PrivatAir. ECAir suspended operations on 10-Oct-2016.

Republic of the Congo's Ministry of International Cooperation announced the government signed a MoU with Allegiance Capital on 07-Jan-2022 with the aim to relaunch ECAir.
