easyJet Europe is an EasyJet plc subsidiary headquartered in Vienna, Austria. The LCC parent company applied to Austro Control for an air operator's certificate on 14-Jul-2017, citing concerns regarding UK-EU services post Brexit. The registration allows for the establishment of a new carrier headquartered in Vienna, and operate within the EU27 states. easyJet Europe commenced on 20-Jul-2017 with Vienna-Luton service using A320 aircraft, after securing an AOC.
