Eastern Air Lines is a US-based carrier that has adopted the branding of the original Eastern Air Lines which suspended operations in 1991. The carrier has also based itself at the hub of the former airline; Miami International Airport. Eastern announced that it received its AOC and part 121 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration on 13-May-2015, commencing charter services on 29-May-2015. The carrier plans to launch scheduled services, using a fleet of Boeing 737-800 and MRJ90 aircraft.
