About

A subsidiary of Aeroflot and formerly known as Aeroflot-Don, Donavia was based at Rostov-on-Don Airport in southwest Russia. The carrier operated a network of services across Russia, the CIS, the Middle East and Europe. Donavia operated it's services under the Rossiya brand, following a restructuring programme by Aeroflot to consolidate subsidiary operations. Ukraine placed Donavia on a list of sanctioned companies in May-2017 and the carrier had its Russian Air Operator's Certificate annulled in May-2016. Donavia was declared bankrupt in Aug-2017.
