Full Service Carrier
Ceased Operations on 08-Jan-2015

DiscoveryAir was a Nigerian carrier based in Lagos. The airline operated domestic services to Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo and Yola. Discovery Air operated a fleet of Boeing 737-300 aircraft. The airline was part of the First Deepwater Discovery Group led by Babatunde Babalola. Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) suspended DiscoveryAir's air operator's certificate (AOC), effective 08-Jan-2015, pending an operational review. NCAA took the action after the airline failed to address issues raised during an audit of several Nigerian carriers. The carrier had it's AOC reinstated, but has not resumed air service operations to date.
