Country/Territory: United States of America

Waltzing Matilda Aviation d/b/a Connect Airlines was a proposed American carrier. Subject to regulatory approvals, the carrier planned to operate Q400 turboprop aircraft to destinations in the Northeast and Midwest US. Connect Airlines was going to be the launch airline for IBS Software's "Airline-in-a-box" set of solutions.

Connect Airlines submitted an application with US Department of Transportation (DoT) requesting a dormancy waiver extending the deadline for commencing operations. US DoT denied Connect Airlines an extension of its dormancy waiver through 31-Dec-2023 and revoked its certificate authority due to dormancy.
