About

Cobalt Air was a Cypriot hybrid carrier based at Larnaca Airport. The carrier completed its first test flight on 17-May-2016, and launched scheduled operations on 07-Jul-2016, with Athens-Manchester service. Headquartered in Nicosia, the carrier established its own cost-efficient service, with a focus on intraline connectivity, using former staff of the grounded Cyprus Airways. Cobalt ceased operations on 18-Oct-2018 due to financial issues. The carrier operated with a fleet of A320-200 aircraft.
