California Pacific Airlines

Full Service Carrier
IATA: n/a
ICAO: n/a

California Pacific Airlines is a proposed full-service carrier to be based at McClellan-Palomar Airport. The start-up sought to commence operations in Oct-2012 with an initial fleet of 4 E170 aircraft to six US destinations from McClellan-Palomar Airport, California. California Pacific invested approximately USD20 million in the start-up. In Sep-2014, the carrier stated it will acquire an unnamed existing airline in order to use its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) to commence services. CP Air confirmed it had purchased SkyWay Airways in Nov-2017. The start-up intended to launch service to six destinations by 01-Apr-2018, utilising a fleet of four Embraer 145 and E170 aircraft.

Aerodynamics Inc (ADI) stated it is rebranding as California Pacific Airlines, with a planned launch of CPA branded flights, at which point services will operate under the new trademark California Pacific Airlines. This includes the Essential Air Service (EAS) routes currently operated in South Dakota and Denver. All CPA aircraft will transition to the new livery, and all airport stations will receive updated branding as well. California Pacific Airlines announced plans to launch services with Embraer ERJ145 from 01-Nov-2018.
