California Pacific Airlines
California Pacific Airlines is a proposed full-service carrier to be based at McClellan-Palomar Airport. The start-up sought to commence operations in Oct-2012 with an initial fleet of 4 E170 aircraft to six US destinations from McClellan-Palomar Airport, California. California Pacific invested approximately USD20 million in the start-up. As of Sep-2014, the carrier stated it will acquire an unnamed existing airline in order to use its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) to commence services. CP Air confirmed it had purchased SkyWay Airways in Nov-2017. The start-up intended to commence operations in 2016, subject to FAA approval. The start-up announced plans to launch service to six destinations by 01-Apr-2018, utilising a fleet of four Embraer 145 and E170 aircraft.
