About

California Pacific Airlines is a proposed full-service carrier to be based at McClellan-Palomar Airport. The start-up sought to commence operations in Oct-2012 with an initial fleet of 4 E170 aircraft to six US destinations from McClellan-Palomar Airport, California. California Pacific invested approximately USD20 million in the start-up. As of Sep-2014, the carrier stated it will acquire an unnamed existing airline in order to use its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) to commence services. The start-up intended to commence operations in 2016, subject to FAA approval. A revised launch date has not been specified.
