About
Breeze Airways (formerly Moxy Airways) is a low cost carrier established by private investors including David Neeleman, founder of JetBlue and Azul. The airline operates point-to-point services between secondary airports using C Series aircraft. Breeze Aviation is the corporate holding entity of Breeze Airways, headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. The US Department of Transportation (DoT) issued a certificate of public convenience and necessity to Breeze Airways authorising the LCC "to engage in interstate scheduled air transportation of persons, property, and mail" in Mar-2021.
Breeze Airways received an air carrier operating certificate from the US FAA on 14-May-2021 authorising the LCC to engage in interstate scheduled air transportation of persons, property, and mail. The airline launched operations on 27-May-2021 with four times weekly Bradley-Charleston service.
