About

Braathens Regional was a Swedish regional airline based at Trollhättan-Vänersborg Airport, with additional bases at Stockholm-Bromma and Ängelholm-Helsingborg airports. The airline offered low-fare services from Stockholm-Bromma to destinations across southern Sweden. The airline was part of the Thun Group, which has interests across the shipping, real estate management and aviation industries. As part of a consolidation programme by Braathens Aviation, parent company of Braathens Regional, the carrier merged with Malmö Aviation and Sundsvallsflyg to form a new Swedish airline, BRA - Braathens Regional Airlines.
