Azimut Airlines, also referred as Azimuth, is a proposed Russian carrier to be based at the new Rostov Platov Airport. The carrier plans to operate regional services to destinations in southern and central Russia using SSJ100 aircraft. Initial routes include Rostov-Moscow, Rostov-Simferopol, and Krasnodar-Simferopol services. It is expected to commence charter operations in Aug-2017, followed by commercial air service operations in Sep-2017. Azimut Airlines received a new Sukhoi SuperJet 100 at its Rostov-on-Don base on 13-Aug-2017.
