About
Aurora Air International was a US start-up planning to relaunch all-cargo services to Asia and Latin America from St Louis MidAmerica Airport. The carrier previously operated regular freight services before it ceased operations in 1995. Aurora intended to specialise in the transport of perishable and pharmaceutical goods using DC-10F aircraft. On its services to China, the start-up intended to focus particularly on serving Ningbo Lishe International Airport, supporting an existing cooperation agreement between it and MidAmerica Airport. Further route details were scheduled to be announced in 2015. A revised launch date has not been specified, it is assumed the carrier has abandoned plans to recommence operations.
