Ascend Airways Malaysia is part of the Avia Solutions Group and serves as a sister airline to Ascend Airways. The airline received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in Oct-2025. The carrier completed its first freighter charter from Kuala Lumpur to Labuan on 01-Dec-2025. Passenger services are scheduled to start in 1Q2026. Ascend Airways Malaysia obtained a foreign air operator's certificate (FAOC) in the Philippines in Mar-2026, allowing the carrier to operate ACMI and charter operations in the Philippines.
