About

Alas del Sur Lineas Aereas was a proposed Argentinian LCC to be based at Cordoba Pajas Blancas Airport. The carrier planned to operate services from Cordoba, using A320 aircraft on cabotage services and Boeing 777 aircraft on long haul services. It received approval from Argentina's Government to operate services to Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Alas del Sur planned to commence service operations in 1Q2017. It was later acquired by Chilean LCC, JetSMART, in Jul-2018.
