Airbus Beluga Transport (ABT)
Airbus Beluga Transport (ABT) is an air cargo service launched by Airbus using its fleet of five BelugaST aircraft, offering outsized freight transportation solutions. ABT will provide large cargo transport services to commercially contracted customers in a range of sectors, including aerospace, energy, humanitarian, maritime and military. The first ABT service was operated in late 2021 with a delivery from Airbus Helicopters' manufacturing site in Marignane to Kobe. Once Airbus has commissioned its six new BelugaXL aircraft, the BelugaST fleet will be transferred to a new subsidiary airline with its own air operator's certificate and staff.
