About
Airbahn is a proposed carrier to be based at Irvine, CA. The carrier plans to operate within and between destinations in Western United States and Canada using A320. It planned to launch operations in Jun-2019.
In Oct-2020, US Department of Transportation (US DoT) issued a certificate of public convenience and necessity to Airbahn, subsequent to its finding the carrier is fit, willing and able to operate interstate scheduled passenger and cargo service. In Jan-2022, US DoT extended Airbahn's certificate until 30-Apr-2022. In May-2022, US Department of Transportation denied Airbahn's request for further extension of its certificate until 30-Aug-2022. No additional updates have been provided.
