Air Pegasus was a semi-low-cost regional carrier based at Bangalore International Airport. The carrier launched its inaugural services on 12-Apr-2015 to Thiruvananthapuram and Hubli. In Nov-2016, India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended Air Pegasus' air operator permit (AOP) after the carrier failed to provide assurance on resumption of its operations. Air Pegasus had not been operating services since 27-Jul-2016 following its failure to pay lease rentals to lessors. On 05-Oct-2016, the DGCA had issued a show cause notice to Air Pegasus, asking why its AOP should not be suspended for its failure to carry out operations. Air Pegasus entered into a strategic partnership with ABC Aviation, Training Services Pvt. Ltd, FLYeasy planned to recommences operations from 01-Mar-2017. A relaunch date of May-2017 was advised however the carrier is yet to commence.
