Air Côte d’Ivoire
Air Côte d’Ivoire replaced Air Ivoire as the national carrier of the Ivory Coast. The carrier provides regional services to destinations across West and Central Africa. Air Côte d’Ivoire is a majority public-owned airline, with the Ivorian government holding a 65% stake, Air France holding 20% and Aérienne de Participation-Côte d’Ivoire owning 15%.
Ownership stakes are set to change with the upcoming USD68 million capital raising programme. According to Air Côte d’Ivoire, the West African Development Bank (BOAD) will increase its stake in the airline to 8%, Goldenrod will contribute additional funds to maintain a 15% stake, Ivory Coast's Government will dilute its stake from 65% to 57% and Air France's shareholding will be reduced from 20% to 8%. The airline expects private investors, banks or other financial institutions to acquire the remaining 12%.
